Undermax Friends is an optional referral program for adults aged 18 or older with an itch.io account in good standing. Activating it records your account ID, the accepted terms version and the acceptance date. Participation does not create employment, an agency relationship or guaranteed income.
Your friends receive a level-based discount from 3% to 25% on eligible purchases. The code recorded at checkout determines attribution; one code applies per order. Purchases elsewhere or without your code cannot be attributed retroactively. Clearly disclose near your link that you may earn rewards. No spam, impersonation, misleading claims or paid ads on Undermax brand searches.
Each US$0.01 actually paid on a qualifying purchase earns 1 XP. XP measures lifetime qualifying sales after refunds; spending credits does not spend XP. Levels 1 to 10 begin at US$0, $10, $25, $50, $75, $100, $130, $180, $200 and $300.01. Your friends' discounts are 3%, 4%, 5%, 7%, 9%, 12%, 15%, 18%, 21% and 25%, respectively.
You earn Friend Credits worth 10% of verified net sale proceeds after PayPal payment fees, increasing to 12% at Level 6 and 15% at Level 10. The rate is recorded for each purchase; level increases apply to future purchases. Credits round down to hundredths. There are no free plugin grants for crossing a level. No reward is earned from taxes, unsupported currencies, reward redemptions, self-purchases, fabricated accounts or unverified payment amounts. Other business costs are not represented by your credit balance.
Credits clear for plugin rewards after 7 days and for PayPal after 30 days from verification. One Friend Credit provides US$1 toward the displayed price of an eligible plugin; you need enough credits for its full price. The current price is checked again before redemption. The personal activation code is restricted to that plugin and uses Undermax's existing redemption system. Stock and standard licenses apply. Credits cannot be transferred or purchased and are not a bank balance.
PayPal rewards require Level 6, at least three distinct customers with cleared purchases, and at least 10 cleared credits. The conversion starts at US$0.50 per credit, with the exact amount shown before confirmation. Undermax processes eligible payouts automatically. Limits of US$25 per creator per day and a shared daily program budget may delay requests without consuming credits. PayPal availability, provider processing, verification, regional eligibility and your account's conversion fees can affect delivery. Never share your PayPal password. A destination change requires Support review.
Refunds automatically reduce the qualifying amount, XP, level, referral discount and earned credits. Partial refunds adjust the remaining eligible net amount. Unresolved disputes and uncertain payment details hold related rewards. Used rewards may result in a negative credit balance, which future earnings offset before further redemption. Duplicate events and recovering a previous level do not generate duplicate rewards. A completed plugin claim cannot necessarily be revoked at the provider. Reward requests may be held for suspected abuse; contact Support for an explanation or appeal.
You may change your code once every 30 days. Previous codes stay associated with your account and share its current discount; they cannot be claimed by another creator. Undermax may reject misleading or offensive codes or pause participation for suspected abuse. Undermax retains identity, code history, order references, accounting movements, requests and consent records for operation, dispute resolution and applicable recordkeeping. Creators never receive buyers' personal or payment information. Sensitive payout and audit payloads are encrypted at rest; operational IDs and balances remain queryable. The existing redemption system has its own storage controls.
Changes apply to future earning rules with notice; existing purchase rates and requested payout values retain their recorded values. Mandatory rights are unaffected. You are responsible for your taxes. See the Privacy Policy or contact Support to stop participation or dispute a decision.
